Platform · module 03 · Hybrid advice & completion journeys

One case across three channels, through to completion with allowances.

Execution-only journeys stop at the subsidised product, and anyone with a question mid-completion starts again in the next channel. Here self-service, adviser assistance and personal advice are one case, and everything is completed inside the same journey.

Step 1 of 6 of the completion journey: a progress bar, the question “How would you like to start?”, and two illustrated routes to choose between, the recommended advised route and the express Standarddepot.
Why this module exists

No drop-out at the edge of the subsidised product.

01The partner's problem

Digital journeys end where it gets interesting: at the subsidised product. From there a manual process takes over, and that edge is exactly where cases break off. Anyone with a question mid-completion starts again in the next channel.

02The Xaver mechanism

Self-service, adviser assistance and personal advice are one case on one set of data. Everything is completed inside the same journey, allowances included; the suitability check and the documentation run along with it rather than afterwards.

03The proof

The completion journey in the demo portal runs from the entry point through to completion, for the full Altersvorsorgedepot with allowances too, that is, past the boundary where execution-only journeys stop.

Benefits

What customer and adviser get out of it.

What it looks like

From the way in to the documents before the declaration.

A tour of the completion journey on the express route: entry without advice, the statutory standard account at a glance, the suitability check with its seven questions, the subsidy-neutral transfer of an existing Riester balance, and finally the documents that sit ready before the contract declaration.

Questions

What partners ask at this point

What happens when the channel changes?+

The case stays the same. Entries, calculations and documents from the digital part are immediately available to the adviser; conversely the customer sees in the portal what came out of the conversation.

Does the journey stop at the subsidised product?+

No. The full Altersvorsorgedepot with state allowances is completed inside the same journey. That boundary is exactly where execution-only journeys stop.

Does the journey run before 1 January 2027?+

Yes, in two stages. From October 2026, advice, suitability assessment and product choice run as a pre-registration, not an application. In January 2027, customers confirm their choice with one click. Advisers work on the same data as the self-service journey, with no second data capture and no system switch.
